The Palmengarten celebrates the queen of flowers with an extra-long week of festivities. For the Rose Show from June 03 to 11, the gardeners decorate the gallery at the Palm House with magnificent arrangements of roses in all shapes and colors. The rose garden is also decorated with additional rose stems. Strolling through the sea of blossoms, visitors can discover sculptures made of wood and ceramics, with which the artists Achim Ripperger and Andrea Capucci pick up on the rose motto. There will also be guided tours of roses and other rose plants.
On the special event weekend from June 10 to 11, visitors can expect a colorful program with sales and action booths, workshops, live sculpture sawing, a selfie station, 5-minute poetry, fairy tale readings, drama, dance theater and numerous musical performances.
