The Society of Botanical Artists (SBA), for the fifth time, is presenting recent paintings and drawings at the Palmengarten. This year's theme is the four seasons as experienced in the garden: from early awakening to full bloom to withering. The Society of Botanical Artists aims to advance the education of the public and the appreciation of fine botanical art, to provide facilities for the exhibition of work by artists who practice the protection, appreciation, conservation and nurture of plants and habitats of plant life with special reference to endangered species. Established in 1985, the SBA brings together artists of national and international repute.
