The Palmengarten creates and presents a particular Christmas display as an indoor forest composed of a dense setting of conifers with lush mosses, colorful poinsettias, hellebores and amaryllis to capture the end-of-the-year sentiments and joys of the Holiday Season.

Twinkle, twinkle! At sunset the Palmengarten transforms into a miraculous realm of hibernal fantasy, lighting up with awe-inspiring illuminations including sound and video installations. The City of Frankfurt has sponsored six women artists (five painters and one musician) on a journey from Frankfurt to Rome to document their impressions of "the land of blooming citrus" in a diary-style book publication. This exhibition in the Villa Leonhardi presents a selection of artwork from this project.
