A garden is a delimited piece of land that is cultivated by man for yield or also for aesthetic purposes. In the face of increasing species extinction, the motto should always be to design one's garden to have a high level of biodiversity. This requires a deep understanding of the interplay of living things with each other. This will be demonstrated at various locations in the Palm Garden. Dr. Peter Schubert shows which cultural measures are suitable to preserve soil fertility, to save water and energy or to avoid plastic in order to meet the objective of "the sustainability of one's garden".
